does this work on linux?

Hi there! The web version should work on all modern browsers. Simply click the 'Run Game' button to start. Let us know if this works for you.

Thanks!

aaaa this is so good

how can i play this fricking game!

if i push a letter i lose how can i play? tell me now!!!

Hi there! Thanks for playing! Please let us know what it was that you couldn't type, so that we can look into what the issue could be. Perhaps it's worth making sure that you are typing a capital letter - the game is case sensitive. We are also yet to test support for keyboard layouts other than English, if that applies to you this may be what is causing some problems.

Thanks!

(+1)

okay i did not know this capital letter thing

Thank you dude!

Really enjoying this! Just wanted to throw out that a bug in the game I played was during the RE: Today's Meeting email.

The line that gets stuck is 'I hired someone from an outside'..., then you have to hit space twice to progress to the next line.

I would also like to throw out suggestions, like upgrades we can buy to off-set single mistakes.  Maybe like "White out" or something?  And it would be cool to be able to buy different music. (Sorry if these are in the game already, but I'm still progressing) ;)

(1 edit) (+1)

Hi there! Glad you're enjoying and thanks for letting us know about the bug - thought we got them all! There's more music to be found, keep typing...

Hello maxhgrobins and NotAlexRobins,

My name is Antonia Gates, I manage the games at CoolmathGames.com. I really enjoyed Mondays: a Sisyphean Typing Game, I think it would be a great fit on our site!

I'm writing to ask if the game is available for non-exclusive licensing. Our licenses are totally non-exclusive, so you would maintain all of the IP rights and could continue to develop and distribute the game however you'd like to.

Please let me know if it is available, and how much it would cost. I'm looking forward to discussing this with you soon!

Best regards,

Antonia Gates

awesome! I laughed a lot. I got to the end and unlocked everything - I saw the "passwords" and I tried typing them in thinking they'd do something but it would just reset me to the beginning because it was the wrong letter. Do the passwords do anything?

(+2)

You just click the button beside them to gain coins as far as I can tell

(+2)

Hi there!

You can input passwords at the Login Screen where you typed your username. Refresh if you have a play session open to start a new game.

Thanks!

(+1)

ohhhh hahaha wow duh, makes sense, didn't even think of that :) thanks!!

(+2)

Thanks for making this, it actually really got to me

(+2)

This game really helped me increase my typing skills and grammar. Thanks!

(+2)

Fun little game! I didn't get an email long enough to go over the hill, but it was amusing seeing all the upgrades stacked on top of each other.

(+2)

It's amazing typing game.

BTW I want save progress.

So, please. I want to use AirPods again without repeat it.

(+1)

Hi there! Glad to hear you enjoyed - email us at enquiries.biotech@gmail.com and we'll see what we can do about giving you a step up on the corporate ladder. Thanks!

(+2)

I don't know why, but whenever I star typing, it takes me to the shop, rendering it unplayable :/

No problemo, man! I'll try your fixes, Thanks!

Edit:

It works, I used the capital letters like you suggested, it works fine now, great game!

(+2)

Love it! highly polished, very fun.

(+2)

the game was fine I guess, but it was very hard!(original idea tho!)

(+3)

This ias abssolutely hillarious (no I didnt make iit very far)

(+4)

Genius game!

(+9)

my soul left my body when i remembered sisyphus' punishment is forever rolling a boulder up a hill in the depths of hades. i hate to say it ladies, men, nonbinary friends, this is a hill we won't be getting over.

anyways, 10/10 love this game.

(+5)

A cruel but painfully real metaphor accompanied by the existentialistic typing of a struggling computer nerd. Absolutely loved it!

(+2)

The AirPods were the only reason I “finished” the game. What music is it and where can I get it?

(1 edit) (+1)

Hi there! The tracks are royalty-free from Epidemic Sound and listed in the Credits within the Settings menu on the Start screen. Here's a Spotify playlist with all tracks (bar one):

https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5B3wXw4AtAxOSXEWJs0Rfj?si=bf0e0e0da6f44e94

Thanks!

(1 edit) (+2)

This is one of the best games on this site.

While it does not offer much volume regarding content (compared to games as well made as this one),

said content speaks volumes.

(1 edit) (+2)

IMPORTANT, IF YOU KEEP LOSING AFTER ONE LETTER, IT IS CASE SENSITIVE. Haha, took me too long to realize that. Lots of fun, and to be honest, my typing skills notably improved XD

I grew up in the Mavis Beacon days, the days when the best video game I had on my pc was something involving typing words correctly to, I dunno, keep penguins on an iceberg I think it was?

This was a funny return to that, allbeit much less forgiving. Obviously this is leaning much more on the "game" aspect of a typing game, considering the addition of accessories and humorous "lore", so it makes sense that it's a little tougher than whatever Beacon would do.

I didn't get a chance to finish it, I imagine getting over the mountain is possible, I made the mistake of restarting to try out the passwords, not realizing if I did that I'd lose my progress (I'll blame myself for that, that seems obvious in retrospect)

Other than that, it was lots of fun! Can't wait to try and finish it again! Thanks for the laughs!

XOXO

Sawyer

the ads were as annoying as real life ads which made them likable in a very strange way. the office language and BioTech as a looming corporate entity contributed to the hell like atmosphere that is capitalism. fun game!

(+3)

Is it possible to get over the hill? I had a couple emails where I got close, and I think if my name was longer I would have made it, but I didn't care to test

(+8)(-1)

Here at BioTech, we believe anything is possible with enough care and attention!

(+2)

I played this game on my brother's keyboard (which I despise) so it was extra frustrating. At least I seem to be better at typing on this cursed thing now :')

(+2)

i've got a weird bug, i cant type more than one letter then it goes back to the shop. Can anyone help?

(1 edit) (+2)

ah i wasn't typing with capitals how didn't i think of that? thanks.

(+6)

Neither win nor loss, you're always addicted to the store. That is the life always been.

(+4)

I hath done what great Sisyphus could not: TYPE.IN THE 21ST CENTURY! BECAUSE HE'S DEAD!

I WON!
(+2)

Awesome game dude (addicting) this brought back memories from my computer typing class.

(+2)

Haha that was fun.

(+6)

genuinely, this game made me understand critics who say "games shouldn't be 100% fun all the time" without having to play punishing long-form games like pathologic or dark souls. i feel my soul being crushed by each slip of the finger without losing many hours of progress. microdosing on suffering and then being compensated with a silly hat afterward. good game

(+2)

pretty simple game, yet pretty fun

Joe Momma

(+2)

I tried to type the first word but "died" after typing G, the first letter of the word.

(+1)

Hi there! Sorry to hear you're having trouble. The game is case sensitive, but let us know if that isn't the issue and we'll try and recreate it. Thanks!

(+1)

Ohhh!!! Thank you, it fixed the issue^^

(+3)

i exist

(+7)

yeah right

(1 edit) (+2)

Spamming X

(+8)

this game made me want to die, love it!

(+2)

Great game! I played it all the way through and loved it! It was a little annoying to close all the tabs every time to start typing again (a "close all", or "back to work" button would be nice), but regardless, fabulous job.

(+1)

a simple popup explaining that they KEEP their position would have helped direct you to stacking them. removed the annoyance for me.

Love the animation/sound effects devs, if you're reading there's a flaw on the email to "Geoff" might be a double space or a string that doesn't match. Larger error in inputs would be the thought of whether or not a 'space' is needed at the end of a line. Different emails were inconsistent. And no, I'm no fun at parties <3

(+2)

Hi there! Thanks for your thoughts, we're going to release the patch soon which addresses these points and more. Thanks again!

(+3)

Lol, imagine complaining about the annoyance of mandatory repetitive labor in a game dedicated to literally emulating the Sisyphean experience 😂

Hilarious and hopeless all at the same time.

Superbly silly commentary on the idiocy of the modern workplace and love the way the developer of this game responds to player comments as it's so fitting.

Excellent spin on the typing sim.

This game is frankly a hundred times better than it has any right to be. It’s stupid, right? It’s all stupid all the way down. And yet I love everything about it. I had a laugh with my buddies about it and now I’m actually getting into it. I’m blaming you for this, BioTech!

(+4)

sick idea and execution, it really makes typing rewarding and the aesthetics are really cool. Thanks for making!

(+4)

I just got to know, is there an ending? Will I ever reach the peak or is it just a hopeless dream?

(+3)

Here at BioTech, we believe anything is possible with enough commitment and diligence!

(+3)

Awesome game, however for some reason in a certain point of the game, it was stuck in caps lock and i had to hold shift to do lowercase. What happened? (And yes i tried pressing caps lock again, it did nothing.)

(+1)

Hi there! We've not encountered that before, can you give any details as to when it happened? (After buying something / changing tab etc) Thanks!

(+2)

I had bought 2 new rocks and 1 rock skin. Then, after finishing some emails and a few accidental clicks out of the window, it started happening. I don't really know how to describe exactly when it happened, but my best guess is this happened because i clicked out of the window in caps lock or something.

(+1)

Thanks for letting us know, we'll try and recreate it to fix for the next patch
